title: Library tab description: Built-in templates organized by scenario, with a Tempo Strength hero row.

Library tab

The middle tab. RhythmFit's shipped collection of 50+ workout templates, organized by scenario. Free users see the 3 starter templates; Pro and welcome-trial users see the full library.

Layout

  1. Hero row — Tempo Strength

A horizontal-scroll row at the top showing the tempo-strength templates (3-1-3, 4-1-1, 5-1-3 starters and progressions). Tempo strength is RhythmFit's signature — we put it first deliberately.

  2. Category grid

    Cards for each scenario category:

    • Cardio HIIT — Tabata, 30/30, EMOM, fartlek
    • Running — cadence-builders, 180 SPM templates
    • Strength — bodyweight, tempo, isometric
    • Cycling — indoor trainer, sprint sets
    • Mobility — joint flow, post-workout stretch
    • Breathing — Box, Belly, Coherent 5.5, scenarios
    • Shadow Boxing — combo drills
    • Office — desk stretches, 5-minute breaks
    • Plyometrics — jump training (intermediate+)
  3. Search

Full-text across template names, descriptions, and block labels.

Preview before adding

Tapping any template card opens a preview sheet — same layout as the share-link preview. You see:

  • Workout name and description.
  • Block list with durations, BPMs, and phase colors.
  • Total duration.
  • Pro-only tags on any blocks that require Pro features (e.g. specialty metronome sounds).

Tap Add to My Library to copy the workout into the My tab. Once added, you can edit it freely — the original template stays intact.

Free tier limits

Free users can add up to 3 templates total. The fourth attempt shows the paywall. Removing a template from your library doesn't free up the slot — the count is "templates ever added," not "currently in library."

Workouts you create manually or via AI don't count against this limit — only built-in templates do.

Pro removes the limit entirely.

What's in a category

Categories aren't tags. Each template lives in exactly one category. The category drives:

  • Default phase color palette (e.g. Cardio HIIT defaults to red work / blue rest).
  • Default countdown sound.
  • Whether the template includes Learning Mode notes by default.

You can override any of this once the template is in your library.

Updates to templates

We occasionally update template content (better cue text, refined durations). Updated templates show a small "Updated" badge for a week. Your library copy isn't auto-updated — if you want the new version, re-add it from Library (your old version remains; you can delete the old one or keep both).
