title: Achievements description: Streaks, milestones, and how progress is calculated.

Achievements

The badge / milestone screen, reached from Stats → Achievements card. Lightweight gamification — no leaderboards, no comparisons to other users, no push notifications about your streak (we hate those). Just a record of your own progress.

What's tracked

  1. Streak

Current consecutive-day streak and longest-ever streak. A "day" means at least one completed workout (saved, not discarded) on that calendar day in your local time zone.

  2. Total minutes lifetime

Sum of every saved session's duration. Discarded sessions don't count.

  3. Total sessions

    Count of every saved session.

  4. Per-category counts

HIIT / Strength / Mobility / Breathing / Running etc. — sessions per category.

  5. Milestones / badges

Unlocked at specific thresholds. See the table below.

Milestone thresholds

| Badge | Condition | | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ | | First Beat | Complete your first workout | | Three in a Row | 3-day streak | | Week Strong | 7-day streak | | Monthly Heartbeat | 30-day streak | | Hundred Days | 100-day streak | | Tempo Apprentice | 10 tempo-strength sessions | | Tempo Master | 50 tempo-strength sessions | | Cardio 50 | 50 HIIT / Tabata / Cardio sessions | | Breath Awareness | 20 breathing sessions | | Wrist Bound | 10 sessions with Apple Watch paired | | Learning Habit | 25 sessions with Learning Mode confirmations | | Pace Setter | 10 sessions where cadence held within 5 % of target | | Voice Companion | 25 sessions with voice commands used |

We deliberately stopped at ~13. More badges produce achievement fatigue.

What's NOT here

  • Leaderboards. No comparison to other users.
  • Calorie / weight milestones. Body-composition outcomes are noisy and discouraging when tracked at the badge level.
  • Streak guilt. No notification at 11pm reminding you you're about to break a streak. The streak counter is informational; you control whether you look at it.
  • PRs (personal records). Workouts aren't strictly comparable across time (you change them), so PRs would be misleading. We show category counts instead.

Streak rules

The streak rules are intentionally forgiving — designed to encourage showing up, not to punish life happening.

  • A "day" is local-time wall-clock. Workout at 11:55 PM counts for that day; workout at 12:05 AM counts for the next.
  • Minimum session length to count: 3 minutes. A 30-second metronome tap-around doesn't break or extend the streak.
  • Skipping a day breaks the streak. No grace days (we tested; it confused users).
  • Time zone change. Travel across multiple zones can produce edge cases; the engine uses your current device time zone, not the session's original.

Resetting

You can't reset achievements (we don't want to give users a way to fake progress). The data backs your Stats view; deleting individual session records via Stats does adjust the milestone counts retroactively.

Full reset is only possible by deleting your account and reinstalling — which is a deliberate threshold.
